Since our beginning in 1997 we have compromised with the society of Reynosa and nearby cities in the careful attention and professional of ours patient, who receive an efficient and warm service, with the highest quality in diagnoses and surgical endoscopic procedures.
These years of trajectory have permitted us to gather, experience, medical equipment and support of highly qualified personnel to attend our patients.
Our new installations offer each patient comfort and security with access to parking lot and a comfortable waiting room.

Most of the studies of Endoscopy can be carried out in the Endoscopic Center since we count on the latest technology with video endoscope system and fiber scopes, all acquired directly with the producing company, besides equipment and necessary accessories for the development of a great variety of therapeutic endoscopic procedures with the highest quality standards.
Our facility has 2 rooms to perform endoscopic procedures, those rooms are equipped with oxygen and wall aspiration, pulse oximetry monitors, arterial tension, cardiac frequency and continuous electrocardiogram, allowing us to perform the majority of the endoscopic diagnostic and therapeutic studies.

One of our rooms is designed to perform fluoroscopy, with the highest security requirements, also we recently acquired a General Electric fluoroscopy equipment, on which we do the therapeutical procedures on biliary tract, inflammation, and antireflux therapies, among others.
The conditions of some patients will require some procedures to been performed at a hospital site, as those patients with hemodynamic inestability or those with some organic failure, in whose case we include portable endoscope equipment that can be transferred to different hospitals.

Part of our staff is Minerva Cardenas M.D. who is assistant of Dr. Caramés, who in the last 8 years has attended National and international Congresses of Specialties of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy and with the daily practice in the studies of endoscopy has acquired great experience and know-how in the processing of the digestive illnesses. Dr. Cardenas, she will be always available to attend and to resolve any doubt that you can have regard to your prescriptions, or reactions that you could have during your treatment and recuperation.

With endoscopy it is posible to diagnose and treat several digestive illnesses with oportunity, this helps you save time and money with wrong treatments, and some times hospitalizacion as result of a complication which could be avoided with a diagnose just when the symptoms appear.
in some cases, endoscopy helps to treat the illness without surgery, like bleedings on the digestive system caused by ulcers or some other causes on which it is possible to stop the bleeding with the terepy, and some other procedures.

If you have Health Insurance, from any company, you are welcome to use it at our center.
We have agreement with all insurance companies.

* US Insurance: If your health insurance have international coverage, you can use it with us, Come to visit us to receive further information.

* Surgery: If you need a surgery procedure or an emergency that requires hospitalization, you just need to be examined by Dr. Carames and he will perform the procedure you'll need at the hospital of your elecction.
If you need a scheduled mayor surgery, you'll need an approval from your insurance company for your procedure and/or hospitalization, and in no more than 48 hours the insurance company send the authorizacion, and then Dr. Carames will schedule your surgery at the hospital of your choice.

* Endoscopic procedures: If you need and endoscopic procedure you'll need an authorization from your insurance company. Request an insurance form in our lobby, fill it up with all your information add a copy of your company credential and a valid ID, present all the documentaion with our recepcionist and the authorizacion will be in progress, 24 to 48 hours later the insurance company will contact you to let you know the insurance responce.

* Hospitalization: If you have an emergency that requires hospitalization, you just need to be examined by Dr. Carames and he will perform the procedure you'll need at the hospital of your elecction.

* Emergencies: If you have an emergency and requiere medical atention please visit us at the Gastroenterology Endoscopic and Surgery Center, if your emergency is during our closed hours, you can go directly to the hospital of your choice and call us to our emergency line at 001- 52 (899) 9 56-41 34.
